About the Book:
Improvisation: The Guide is the third edition of Theatresports Down Under, which has been hugely popular at schools and universities.
Improvisation processes ignite spontaneity, develop lateral thinking, encourage team work and release the potential artist in us all. The results are tangible. Improvisation: The Guide, by improv legend Lyn Pierse, is a bible for all teachers, actors and improvisers. Now 460 pages, it is a practical, detailed, hands-on feast of ideas, exercises and scene-work. Drama teachers at primary, secondary and university levels have found this book invaluable. The techniques have been used for corporate workshops, drama in education and professional actor training.
What people say:

"If you want a career in comedy, read this book. Improv exercises help me to think on my feet and have snappy comebacks to hecklers All standup comics need to first be improvisers." — Judy Carter, author of The Comedy Bible
