Accidents Happen is a collection of short plays by J. Michael DeAngelis, Pete Barry, and John P. Dowgin. Inside these pages you will find seven of The Porch Room's best short plays collected together into an evening of comedy that proves that no matter what you plan for – accidents happen. This collection of short plays can be performed together as a full-length show or on their own as "pop-up" fringe plays to spotlight local performers.

The Clive Way is a short comedy by John P. Dowgin. A motivational speaker mistakenly tries to empower a group of newly rehabilitated anger-management patients. (Cast: 5 male, 1 any gender)

Hangman is a 10-minute dark comedy by Pete Barry. A budding teenage philosopher-scientist searches for the truth by experimenting on his friend with a hallucinogenic cocktail. (Cast: 5 male)

Tricks of the Trade is a short play by John P. Dowgin. Ralph teaches Eddie how to sell your soul for success. (Cast: 3 male)

The Banderscott is a short play by Pete Barry. An infomercial marketer is pitched an astonishing product. (Cast: 2 female, 4 male, 1 any gender)
