About the Author:
Claire Wilcox has been a
Senior Curator of Fashion at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A)
since 2004 where she had overall responsibility for collections,
programming and research. Since 2013, she has also been Professor in
Fashion Curation at the London College of Fashion (LCF), University
of the Arts London. She has curated many exhibitions at the V&A
including blockbuster shows, for Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty and
Frida Kahlo: Making Herself Up. She instigated Fashion in Motion
(live catwalk events in the Museum) in 1999.
