About the Authors:
Thom Taylor has written for Variety, Locations, Millimeter and other magazines as well as writing the first article for Movieline. Thom studied economics at the University of California at Berkeley and film production at the American Film Institute's Center from Advanced Film and Television Studies, and earned an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is also the author of The Big Deal: Hollywood’s Million-Dollar Spec Script Market.
Melinda Hsu is a graduate from Harvard College, and Columbia University where she received an MFA in Film. Prior to her work as a staff writer on Still Life (a one-hour drama for the FOX network), she worked as a story analyst for producers, agents, and writers nationwide. She was a staff writer and then story editor on the NBC drama Medium before becoming an executive story editor on FOX's drama Vanished.
This husband and wife team live in Los Angeles.
