About the Novel:

Grazie is the first novel by award-winning playwright Lucia Frangione.

When Graziana's violent stalker dies in a car crash, a powerful catharsis lands her in hospital. Her eight year-old, the willful and creative Hazel, suddenly becomes the ward of Grandpa "Grumpy" Herman, while her mother embarks on a necessary path to healing – a path that includes a pilgrimage to Italy to bike the famous Via Francigena.

Grazie is a gritty and spiritual story of transformation, forgiveness, accountability, and rebirth, that takes us from Red Deer to Rome, and from the Amazon to Andromeda. Lucia Frangione is an internationally produced award-winning Canadian playwright and actor, best known for performing in her own works. The author of over twenty-five plays, she received training through Studio 58 and Rosebud School of the Arts.
