High School for Dummies is a one-act comedy by Bradley Hayward. With the influx of how-to books for dummies, dealing with everything from piano to poker, a group of graduating seniors take it upon themselves to write the most important one of them all: High School for Dummies.

High School for Dummies is story of a group of graduating seniors who decide to write a "how-to" guide for incoming freshmen. What would happen if there really was an instructional manual for freshmen? Things would certainly be a lot different come graduation, that's for sure. If a bully jams you in a locker, consult chapter 3. If you forget your homework, there's an excuse on page 46. If the cafeteria serves mush, then check the footnotes for some recipes. From how to deal with mean teachers to how to impress the ladies, these seniors lay down the tricks of the trade. It's the book that all teenagers have been waiting for. High School for Dummies will leave your audience laughing and reminiscing about their high school experiences.

About the Playwright:

Bradley Hayward grew up in a small Canadian town, where the overall lack of things to do left him plenty of time to write his first play. Since that time, he has written more than 50 published plays that have been produced in over 20 countries around the world. His one-acts for high school students have been presented at Thespian festivals across the United States and Canada. He currently lives in Toronto.
