Juniper Blood is a full-length drama by Mike Bartlett. Poignant and powerful, Juniper Blood explores the true cost of pursuing our ideals in an imperfect world when a couple leaves the city behind to start a new life on a farm to live differently, and live better.

Juniper Blood is a compelling exploration of how ideals collide with reality. Lip and Ruth have escaped the hustle of city life in search of something more fulfilling – a peaceful existence on the farm – chasing self-sufficiency, sustainability, and a more authentic life. But that tranquility is shattered when Ruth's stepdaughter and her disruptive best friend arrive, turning their rural retreat into a flashpoint of clashing ideals and tangled relationships. As conflicting visions of the future clash, long-buried tensions erupt and the dream begins to unravel. Set in the countryside but bristling with urgent questions about class, politics, power and idealism, Juniper Blood shines a light on how fragile our visions of a "better life" can become.
