Auditions can make or break actors, whether they are trying out for a role on Broadway, a Hollywood film or a park department production. Bob Berry, who has decades of experience with the world of acting, has created dozens of monologues for both newcomers and veteran actors in his book Monologues for the Serious Actor.

Designed for film and stage auditions as well as workshops, the one- and two-page monologues feature comedy, drama and – sometimes – a mixture of both.
