About the Play:

Project Murder - The Elimination Challenge, Or Murder on the Runway is a full-length comedy by Don Zolidis. A murder mystery whodunnit that parodies fashion design challenges on reality TV. The comedy is based on the hit reality show Project Runway, which has fashion design contestants create clothing, often with limited time, on a shoestring budget and around a particular theme.

Project Murder - The Elimination Challenge, Or Murder on the Runway meshes fashion and murder-mystery. Five fashion designers' lives are in danger after the police are tipped off that one of them is about to be murdered on the live TV show Project Design. Detective Carol-Ann Perkins wants a shot to catch the culprit and become a famous star. To do that, she not only has to overcome her own bumbling tendencies; she has to go undercover and compete against some of the top fashion designers around to prevent murder on the runway. At the end of the first act audiences are polled to see who they think committed the crime, and with seven different endings, you'll never know who is the real source of the Elimination Challenge.

Project Murder - The Elimination Challenge, Or Murder on the Runway premiered in 2016 at Anoka High School in Anoka, Minnesota. It has subsequently been at several schools across America.
