About the Play:

Spring Prom Magic is a full-length comedy by Natalie Farrow, one of the many pseudonyms for playwright Wilbur Braun. The story concerns Terry Allister, a pretty high school student, who is determined to get Warren Spade, a star high school athlete, to ask her to the Spring Prom.

Spring Prom Magic is about pretty and attractive seventeen-year-old Terry Allister, who has a crush on handsome Warren Spade, star athlete and most popular boy in school. Terry is determined Warren will ask her to be his date for the Spring Prom. In order to attract his attention, she decides to make herself over with the aid of her mother, Grace. Ursula Peabody, a spoiled, rich girl, also wants Warren to ask her to the Prom night. She launches a campaign to disgrace Terry and uses dishonest tactics to win. Everything looks as though Ursula's scheme will succeed, but just as Terry is giving up hope, Ursula's plan backfires. Warren asks Terry to the Spring Prom, and the situation resolves itself happily.

Spring Prom Magic has been performed in high school and community theatre productions.
