Katherine Elizabeth Callan is an American author and actress known for playing Superman's adopted mother Martha in the ABC television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She has been a regular on three series, guested on more than 100 TV shows, and has also authored a string of showbiz reference books while pursuing her acting career.
