About the Author:

Rex Gibson (1932-2005) is best known for his creation and editing of the Cambridge School Shakespeare series. He taught Shakespeare at all levels from high school level to university in the UK, and was also Lecturer in Education in the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education where he led many Shakespeare in-service courses for teachers. For his work on active approaches to teaching Shakespeare, he was awarded the Sam Wanamaker International Shakespeare Globe Award in 1994.
