About the Author:
Nan Withers-Wilson is a voice and dialect specialist whose credits include regional and Off-Broadway theatre, television, and film. Dr. Withers-Wilson is a member of Loyola University Chicago's Theatre Department faculty where she teaches courses in Dramatic Literature, Stage Voice & Diction, and Dialects for the Stage. She is the author of Vocal Direction for the Theatre, the first book to be written on how the theatre voice specialist functions as a collaborative artist within the production process.
